We are the proud owners of this unique cabin that was designed by Snøhetta and manufactured by Omgi. We hope it gives you exactly what its name promises: a chance to truly relax and recharge in the Norwegian mountains.

The outdoor area around the cabin gives you direct access to nature experiences. From the cabin you have easy access to an extensive network of cross-country ski trails during winter and lots of hiking trails during spring, summer and autumn. This guide covers what you need to know during your stay – from parking and the fireplace to local tips. Browse the menu to find what you are looking for.

Parking &
EV Charging
There is space for a regular passenger car in the parking lot right next to the cabin. It is the innermost parking space, by the charging box named TOMT 4.
Do you need to charge your car?
You can charge your car from the charger named TOMT 4 at the parking lot. The charger is a Zaptec Go, 22 kW.
Just plug the cable into your car first, then into the charging station. Then send a message to +47 416 76 760 and ask for the charging to be started.

The Bioethanol
Fireplace
Be careful when using the biofireplace. Do not add more fuel while there are flames or when the fireplace is hot. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure.
Remove the lid
Remove the lid so the burner is visible.
Fill with fuel
Fill up with bio-fireplace fuel – you can find it in the cupboard over the fireplace. 1 bottle per stay.
Light the fireplace
Light after you have emptied the entire bottle into the burner.
Extinguishing the fireplace
Use the accessories (braces) found under the cabinet. Thread them over the points that stand up and pull the lid over the flames. Do not blow on the flames or attempt to extinguish in any other way.

Living Room
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay – hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and all the accessories, cutlery and plates you need.
Wilfa Coffee Maker
The water tank is detachable – fill it with fresh Norwegian mountain water. Remember to set the flow control at the bottom of the filter holder to your preferred brew strength.
Wilfa Coffee Grinder
Only use coffee beans in the grinder. For filter coffee, grind between level 10 and 15. The filter holder fits directly under the grinder – grind straight into the filter.
Dishwasher
Press the ON button on top of the door, then choose your program. Close the door and it starts automatically. The door opens when done.
Please fill and start the dishwasher before you check out!

Satellite WiFi is available at the cabin.

Marshall Speaker
Turn it on, press the Bluetooth button, then activate Bluetooth on your device. The speaker appears as EMBERTON III. The charging cable is in the cupboard above the fireplace.
The Bedrooms
Two spacious bedrooms with ceiling lighting with dimming function, reading lights and charging points on the walls. Both bedrooms have a magnificent panoramic view – floor to ceiling windows at the end of each bed.
Bedroom 1
Double bed 150 cm × 200 cm with soft and comfortable mattress, duvet and pillows. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows at the end of the bed. Additional duvets and pillows are in the cupboard if needed.
Bedroom 2
Double bed 150 cm × 200 cm with soft and comfortable mattress, duvet and pillows. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling sliding doors at the end of the bed. Additional duvets and pillows are in the cupboard if needed.
Bed linen & towels
Remember to bring your own bed linen, sheets and towels. Additional duvets and pillows are available in the cupboards in both bedrooms.
Light &
Temperature
There are dimmable light switches in each room as well as a wireless mobile phone charger in each bedroom.
Light & temperature panel
At the entrance you will find a panel that controls both light and temperature in the cabin. Here you can easily adjust according to your needs. The panel has four modes:

Frostsikring – Frost protection (10°C)
Heat pump
In the living room you will also find a heat pump that can be controlled with the remote control on the kitchen counter. Use this for additional heating or cooling as needed.
House Rules
To ensure a great experience for all guests, we ask that you respect the following during your stay.
Private use only
The cabin is for private use only. Events and parties are not permitted without written consent.
No smoking indoors
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the cabin.
Pets
Pets must be agreed upon in advance.
Treat the cabin with care
Please treat the cabin and its contents with care and respect.
Keep it clean
Keep the cabin clean and tidy throughout your stay.
Before You
Leave
Check-out is by 11:00. Please leave the cabin in good condition before you go – thank you!
Dishes
Do the dishes and empty the dishwasher.
Fridge & drawers
Empty the fridge and drawers of your own food.
Tidy up
Put all items back in the cupboards. Tidy up inside and outside – return furniture to its original position.
Bed linen & towels
Remember to take your own bed linen and towels with you.
Waste
Empty the kitchen bin and remove empty bottles.
Temperature
Set the temperature panel to «Frostsikring» (frost protection) before leaving. This keeps the cabin at 10°C and protects the pipes.
Platting &
Bålpanne
Plattingen med panoramautsikt er et av hyttens store høydepunkter – et solrikt utendørsrom med bålpanne, perfekt for kvelder under åpen himmel på Blefjell.
Bålpannen
Nyt kveldene ute med bål i bålpannen på plattingen. Er det ved liggende ved hytta er den til fri bruk – mangler det, er det enkelt å skaffe på vei opp. Se neste punkt.
Kjøpe ved
Trenger du mer ved? Det kan kjøpes på vei opp til hytta – se etter utsalg langs veien. Alternativt finner du det hos Kiwi eller Rema 1000 i Lampeland (~30 min kjøring).
